Jr. Science | 1st Grade

Full day program with swim lessons.
Campers enjoy uncovering the mysteries of the world around them: How do airplanes fly? Why do we brush our teeth? How does gravity work? Why are tides affected by the moon? Through imaginative play, stories, experiments, and hands-on manipulation, campers will be exploring the scientific properties and amazements of their world.
Our investigations and experiments may repeat from week-to-week. To avoid your camper exploring concepts for which they already anticipate the outcome, we recommend that a camper only spend one week each summer in this camp.

My son said that LINX Camps is his favorite camp this summer - he asked us to enroll next year (not same story with Ten Acre or Fessenden). He loved how active it was (he said there was so much to do) and was gushing daily about the science experiments." Thank you for making the camps so allergy inclusive. I particularly appreciated the attention from the head nurse to make sure that Jr. Science Camp would be safe for our daughter." His counselors were so nice to him — he practically jumped out of the car in the morning. Thank you for a beautiful summer, LINX Camps. This is what a child’s summer at camp should be — we are grateful." E.Z., Wellesley
My youngest camper made versions of GSOP, Spirit Stick, and Missing Link for our home, that he awards to family members or, in the case of the Missing Link, sneaks into bags and under pillows."
